Plan two journeys
Your trip has two distinct transport decisions: reaching your accommodation on Pag, then travelling to and from Zrće for the events. Solve both before you arrive. The best flight or intercity bus is only part of the plan if the final connection does not work with its arrival time.
Keep the actual accommodation address, check-in instructions and transport provider's contact together. Share them with everyone travelling, particularly if your group is arriving on different services.
Choose the connection that fits your arrival
When comparing arrival airports or bus routes, look at the full journey rather than the fare alone. Include the onward connection, waiting time, luggage and the effect of a late arrival. Confirm what happens if a flight or earlier connection is delayed.
Arriva publishes Novalja bus-station information and intercity connections. Search the actual travel date when checking availability; a route listed on a website is not a promise of a departure at every time of year.
Check the beach service for your dates
The Novalja Tourist Board describes a summer bus connection to Zrće. Arriva also publishes information for the Novalja–Zrće route. Use the current operator timetable to identify your stop, direction and operating dates before relying on it for an event.
A timetable from an earlier summer can show how a service worked, but it should not be used to promise a 2027 departure. For a taxi or private transfer, establish the pickup point and quote directly with the provider.
Arrange the return while it is easy
Decide how you will get home before the night starts. Check the service that runs at the time you expect to leave and keep a backup contact. If the group may split, make sure each person has the accommodation address and an independent way to reach it.
- Save your exact pickup point and destination.
- Check the date, route and service hours.
- Confirm the total fare or ticket coverage.
- Keep a charged phone and the provider's contact available.
Allow a little margin
Leave time for finding the entrance and following the event's arrival instructions. If you have a reserved table, tell the provider about your expected arrival and ask how delays are handled. A comfortable margin helps the group begin the evening together instead of spending it coordinating transport.
